IKEA furniture and interior decoration, Rennes

SNC-Lavalin was commissioned to manage the construction of the new IKEA outlet at Rennes. Commensurate with IKEA standards, the new facility features exhibition and restaurant space on the upper floor, and marketplace and self-serve merchandise pick up on the ground floor. Over the years, IKEA Group has awarded SNC-Lavalin a number of project management contracts for outlets at Saint Herblain (44), Les Lisses (91), Henin Beaumont (62), Évry (91), Rouen (76) and Reims (51).

Espace Nayel

Within the framework of the construction of Espace Nayel at Lorient, SOGEA NAYEL commissioned SNC-Lavalin with comprehensive technical studies into fluid and electrical works. This multifunctional ensemble measuring 19 000 m² in area includes a shopping promenade, car park, offices and apartments. Traversed by a covered street, Espace Nayel is a pedestrian walkway which has been integrated into the city centre.

Auchan superstore complex, Budapest

AUCHAN Group commissioned SNC-Lavalin to manage a project which involved providing assistance in designing and adapting a concept to the current situation in Hungary (vehicle car parks and access structures excepted). It was the first AUCHAN superstore to be erected in Hungary and only the second in Central Europe after the one in Poland. Work entailed the architectural package, the drawing up and submission of a request for a building permit, detailed engineering studies, procurement and management of construction work. This superstore is ideally located at the entrance to Budapest along M1 motorway, currently the only major motorway link to another European capital, namely Vienna, and Lake Balaton, Hungary's leading resort area.
