Complutense University, Madrid
Complutense University of Madrid commissioned SNC-Lavalin to draw up a master plan for 110 university buildings located in 3 different areas: on the main campus, on Somosaguas Campus (suburban), and in central Madrid. The majority of the buildings are outdated to varying extents and present a wide range of defects. In the master plan, provision has been made for the drafting of a safety status report for each building, detailing structural issues, fire hazards, etc., and indicating compliance or non-compliance with applicable standards. The plan also recommends action to be taken to remedy the issues highlighted in these reports.
