SNC-Lavalin is the majority shareholder in the company set up to manage and operate this airport complex located in the southern reaches of the Department of Marne. Paris-Vatry Airport is a dedicated air cargo facility situated 150 km east of Paris. Equipped with a 3860-metre runway and performance-oriented navigational aids, the airport is capable of accommodating all manner of wide-body aircraft 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Only a short distance from the Greater Paris area, Paris-Vatry boasts superlative cargo handling capability and features five temperature-controlled cold rooms for the optimal handing of fresh produce and other perishables. Supported by a leading edge logistics park (300 000 m² of warehouse space built to date), the airport's ready availability of lots will allow the complex to continue to draw other internationally renowned names in logistics well into the future. Paris-Vatry is connected directly to A26 motorway and is located only a short distance south of the junction with A4 motorway, providing ease of access to a heavily travelled corridor which extends to the Greater Paris area, the British Isles, Benelux and the Rhine basin.
